If you are looking for cookware then consider the following to help narrow your search. Not all frypans are the same, What is the best? That is a question we get all of the time. There is no short answer to this, but what we suggest is that fit for purpose always outweighs looks. Our favourite is the Blued Steel Frypans. The reasons are many, but to keep it simple, they are light, 100% natural, quick to heat up and very well priced when compared to stainless steel pans or high end Teflon coated pans. Commercially chefs love basic aluminium frypans – again, they are also quick to heat up, lightweight and inexpensive.

We have a range of cast iron cookware and cast iron serving pieces, so check these out if you love the authenticity and feel of cast iron. Enamelled cast iron cookware is also available with the exciting colours in the Lava Range of cookware. Stainless Steel cooking pots and pans are great – we suggest that saucepans and stockpots are the best for stainless steel cooking. It takes some practice to cook on stainless steel frypans – All of our Stainless Cookware is commercial quality and can handle the rigours of the commercial kitchen – Guaranteed for a lifetime of use.

Interesting fact: Nearly every stainless steel frypan or stockpot / saucepan will have a thick base – This base is used to sandwich a better conducting metal than stainless for even cooking. Stainless steel is one of the worst conductors of heat – most pans will be sandwiched with either aluminium or copper.
